Toronto (Canada) Aug 10 (ANI): Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas triggered a major upset in the ongoing Canadian Open on Thursday as he humbled 13-time Grand Slam champion Serbian Novak Djokovic in the round of 16.
The Greek teenager, who will be celebrating his 20th birthday this Sunday humbled four-time champion Djokovic 6-3, 6-7, 6-3 to book his place into the quarterfinals.
The 19-year-old who has been on fire also reached the fourth of the Wimbledon championships this year only to lose to American John Isner.
Tsitsipas will now face either Germany's Alexander Zverev or Russian Daniil Medvedev for the place in the semis. (ANI)
